When the Grass Stands Still

An installation by Karla García for the Cell Series at the Old Jail Art Center

When the Grass Stands Still represents a longing for a moment in nature and a wish during a time of isolation. This installation is made with small terra cotta sculptures resembling clusters of grass that appear to stop in time, giving us a moment to think about time, place, and solace.
